Jdn because we have NO AGENDA. we speak the truth. If you do not believe the language will not be written into future contracts, you are not being a realist. During this contact, any mandated vaccine related illness or death would be company liability, this why the company "backed out" after one month of stating a mandate that didn't have the legal backing to enforce. Please think before you speak on this site, and keep it an honest discussion without name calling, bullying and threats. Thank you.
@gka+1edQV13x This is gaslighting!! You’re praising no mandate, then encouraging a mandate in 2023, while not even stating the truth? Be careful people, not taking a side either way, but people who make posts like this are obfuscating the truth. Apparently on purpose.
We have stated since day one that a mandate couldn't be implemented into an existing contract, and we were chastised on this site, most likely by one overzealous poster on here who is a name caller and a bully. The mandate was always quite a bit of nothing more than a PR stunt, and it accomplished what it set out to do, as more employees did indeed get vaccinated. We want our employees vaccinated, but we are against mandates. When the current contact expires in August 2023, you can bet on it there will be language written in that will see a mandates included in just in case the need ever arises again. In other words, after august 2023, you won't be protected if you don't follow the health rules implemented at that time. We hope to have a company wide EISP in place at the end of the current contract, as the next one will be quite progressive in comparison.
