Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Mandatory vaccine or required testing being announced today

Proof of vaccine or submit to mandatory weekly testing email is going out today. Must have Vax card scanned in by Dec 4. Waiting on the details. Going to be interesting.

If you are WFH you do not have to test weekly. Only for those who have an assigned office they have to go into full time or hybrid model.

You can all debate the vaccine till you are blue in the face and pass out.

If WF requires it, there's nothing you can do to stop them from requiring it.

Get over it, get vaccinated and keep your job, or move along.

  • They just hit us with the "Corp" mandate to vax or test weekly (regardless if remote) and mask. I thought I would delineate a few points. Basically gave a middle finger to the 5th circuit, we can do what we want and we are going to mirror osha policy ourselves. On the Accommodations, they do have drop down boxes to exempt from vax test or mask via RE & ME. But doesn't let you select all. So my thought is to stay unvax b/c if you get approved you still have to sp-t weekly and diaper even if you don't go in. So I will pursue the ME & RE for the "TEST" opt out. They are doing an end round around Texas-EO and the 5th circuit making it corp policy not a mandate from feds. Next thing I will need to come up with RE answers as I plan to do both RE & ME.

HIPAA does not apply to employers.

@oud

HIPAA has nothing, zero, zilch to do with this. Learn to use google and read what HIPAA is actually about before you fling it around in an irrelevant context.

And you have natural immunity? Like Aaron Rodgers who was "immunized"?

There is no limit to the self delusional bulls--t people will spew

It is on Teamworks. You are supposed to use PTO first. If you have no PTO or had not accrued enough PTO then there is a PTO code to use for up to 16 hours for vaccine recovery per shot.

It’s a hipaa violation and they can kiss my a-s.
I’m a remote worker.
OSHA quit enforcement of mandates.
I have natural immunity.
Why should I be forced to incur testing cost if I can prove my body can handle covid?

Lookup data in Japan and how they came out of the most recent wave. Vaccines didn’t help them. Ivermectin did.

So wait... If you get side effects you get up to 16 hours of PTO to recover? What of us that previously took PTO? I took a day of PTO after two of my three shots because I felt like sh--e.

IF your PTO is used up or you have not accrued enough PTO, you get up to 16 hours PTO for each shot to recover, if needed.

Too funny. The wailing and gnashing of teeth undoubtedly from some who took the PTO, but didn't get vaccinated, knowing they will be spending Christmas at a soup kitchen after getting fired.

So you get paid time off to recover from any side effects? Who gets to determine if the side effects are from the vaccine or not? Is this the role of the new Chief Health Officer?

If you do not want the vaccine and you don’t want to get tested just refuse. I guess we’ll see what happens.

You will be safer around unvaccinated since they will have been tested. The vaccinated will be the spreaders of Covid.

Just look at Germany, they have one of the highest vaccine rates in the world and they are having a explosion of cases right now, so much for the vaccine. I guess facts don't matter though. Country is run by nut jobs.

@avg+1dXOwyiC man this is too funny. If someone was d-mb enough to commit fraud just to avoid the vaccine they honestly deserve to be cut without pay

They will look for discrepancies too. Say you took off in April and used the 4 hours - but then your card says you actually got it 2 weeks ago. You lied. Thats grounds for administrative action. That is going to be a big one. People who took the PTO without getting the shot. That's going to be another firing with no severance. Then anyone who provides a forged or false statement - another round of no severance ties being cut. That is all without a federal mandate!

When did Wells Fargo take away the public comments on the home page? This would have been a story that prompted a lot of discussion. How do you suppose this will come up (ex- people complaining about it in all hands) or will there just be a bunch of emails sent to HR that aren’t discussed?

Did everyone complain this much when they were fingerprinted and had to submit to a background check just to get the job?

Do your own research = watch a YouTube video from a dude who makes $1000 per million hits and makes more money riling folks up.
Versus highly educated researchers publishing methodology for other educated researchers to repeat the results.

WF lost its mind by pushing this very unproven but highly deadly vaccine. So many adverse reactions including deaths that are ignored. What about the lies about safe and effective. Notice how the corrupt CDC is against IVM and HCQ that have been used for many decades? Why - so the clot shot can continue as an emergency use authorization solution. If you want to play Russian roulette with your life, go for it but count me out

I took the first 2 vaccines, as I honestly believed the benefits outweighed the risk. However, after reading the cdc booster report, I made the conclusion I will not be getting the booster (I am a younger healthy individual) as there is no scientific evidence the first 2 shots are ineffective for my age group (they are 100% effective against hospitalization). Additionally, the cdc report admits they are not sure if the shots actually prevent transmission. I also know many who couldn’t work for a few days after the original shot, had long term menstrual cycle impacts, and even one person who had a bad reaction where they were expected to foot their own ER bill. There is definitely a risk component of these shots (even if small) and no one knows the long term impacts.

I know boosters aren’t required YET, and while I am again a believer in getting the original doses, I think implementing a vaccine mandate (which this is basically mandate light, where the future testing costs could eventually be passed on to the individual which would be financially tough for people) is a very slippery slope that could be taken advantage of in the future (ex- are they eventually going to require a booster every 6 months to be considered vaccinated). This decision is meant for an individual who should be talking to a doctor if they have concerns.

I'm vaccinated, plus a booster.

But I'm telling them I'm NOT vaccinated.

Because I want to get tested.

I got vaccinated for other reasons but it does feel forced and if my other reason didn’t exist I would have never gotten the vaccination. Whether we are vaccinated or not all of use should stick together in this one and complain. It’s none of their business what decision we made. If they really cared they wouldn’t make us go back to first come first serve cubicles . That’s not sanitary at all.

You know we WF employees now are subject to Fauci's ever changing 'Fully Vaccinated" and will most likely now require a Booster shot, annually. Also - people please follow the science from countries that are most highly vax'd in the world in Europe and Israel yet COVID is spreading like wildfire among those vaccinated. Pure BS and lose your freedoms. I'll take my severance and go somewhere else please.

Any employees who are against this should file a complaint with Employee Relations immediately. Get as many complaints in as possible to send a very clear message.

Those who want the vaccine should get it, this who don’t shouldn’t be forced.
