Imagine if we could somehow unite and go on strike and do not show up to work!

@uqt+1r7dqcPC what if you like your job but CEO does not give a sh-t and you would be on chopping board next?
What if you actually like your job and want to do it? Do we still have to protest?
@ifl+1r7dqcPC Nike is this shithile because of stupid people like you. A manager fired a worker at Starbucks and all protested and walked out of the store and corporate fired the manager....You are comparing Nike with Opec? What do you smoke bro?
@gtt that’s like saying “If everyone just refuses to buy gasoline one day per week, OPEC will be forced to cut prices!”
Not going to happen.
If no one shows to campus for just 5 days, Nike is forced( hopefully) to reconsider how it treats employees or at least force resignation out of JD
Slack mob!
This is a business, not a university campus. If you are not useful, if you’re costing the company money, you can and will be replaced.
That’s harsh, but it’s the reality of the situation.
Unless you’re in a union, and striking, this type of protest is just job abandonment.
No work would get done which would lead to little to no revenue which would lead to Nike making a true change in how they treat their employees
After people began to find out who was being let go, the tidal wave of meeting invites for next week began. It’s honestly insane how people are like well okay let’s pretend like nothing happened! I didn’t even want to accept half of it because who even know if anyone will be here?! Seems d-mb.
What would that achieve?
Imagine if the US had labor laws… I doubt they will manage to fire anyone in EMEA, like Google couldn’t.
Hey hey! Ho ho! JD has got to go!
