So hearing they are gonna offer a large incentive for some to leave on union side freeing up some ability to let go on the management side.Hearing basic wage increases with increasing medical cost as usual.Company wants more flexibility.Guess we see

Why would you think the union would get any significant wins? Past negotiations must have shown you that isn’t gonna happen. Especially with an extremely old work force who are on their way out the door anyways . VZ has no need to offer much

All I’m seeing on this post is a lot of pipe dreams. Let’s bring in reality. The outsourcing of calls is incredible, there’s a ton of vendors to take tech jobs, also Verizon is a billion dollars in debt. I would be preparing for a strike. A I is starting to become e reality and you union has done nothing to preserve your jobs.

I hope it something reasonable. It’s unbearable here in Hidden Ridge our Manager has no idea what he is doing. Comes in at 9 leaves at 4 and is very rarely here on Mondays and or fridays. I wish management would step in but as union folks we’re just for a deal so we can bail out. Cmon BS as director step in and monitor this guy

They don’t need to reduce union workforce to lay off managers. They lay off managers all the time with not much concern to the outcome.

what are they giving up cause the last 15 plus year CWA got nothing for their members.your rise in medical negate your small raise increase so you really get no raise,the rise in inflation last couple of yeasrs your got cr-p.pension band freezes since 2010 we got cr-p ,sh-t that goes on in the garages and the local just sits on there hands now days.all you hear from the union " oh they can do that""oh let me check"etc etc CWA su-ks,glad im leaving in 6 months
