The 3 or so Macy's in Montgomery county MD will be closed until further notice. Will this mean the stores will permanently close?

@hbm+14XDQtHQ I think this person is talking about the fact that Montgomery County announced they would lockdown indefensibly until the virus gets better. And to answer op's question: no, no they will not.
If you governor isn't allowing retail to open yet, then Macy's can't open. Once the restrictions are lifted, it takes about a week to prepare to open again.
Did you just come out of a coma or something ?
Where have you been for the past two months? Most stores are closed until further notice.
