Be brave

I resigned 5+ years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Less stress, no more back stabbing, no arrogant leaders, and constantly treated with dignity and respect. Is it 100% perfect? Of course not! Is it way better? Absolutely.

I wonder why people stay there. Do you look up to and and want to be like the other XOM leaders? If the answer is no, why stay? If the answer was yes, well, it should probably be no.

This is THEE time to get a job with all of the movement occuring across industries.

Make an exxodus to remember!

After joining the company, the employees are being brainwashed with "fear"...as a result, many of the colleagues "fear" about the unknown working somewhere else - hence they stay although they are not happy. Some also "fear" about the money as they need to put food on the table for their family....I believe it depends on the risk that people are willing to take...but the longer you are working for the company, the more risk averse you will be...

Don’t doubt for a second the disgust many of us feel about this… why can’t people just be normal and do their actual jobs to the best of their ability? Leadership is not posting or sharing things on LinkedIn.

I resigned 33 years ago with a pension and I'm still standing.
You know, Jesus was 33 when he got resurrected.
I've kept going that long as a retiree! Never went back.
It is hard to believe.
