Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

ATT Wireless has no chance against Verizon and TMobile

They are miles ahead with 5G and 3G turn off for ATT a disaster of epic proportions. Public perception of ATT is very bad, distribution weak, and network decimated as capital flowed to service debt.

This is a SH%T POST, been in wireless with T-for 25+ years, our 5G strategy is spot on....we all may have things we dislike about management, policy, etc, but our wireless network, strategy & investment hold their own

T as a company, has no ambition to rise to 2nd or 1st place in the wireless arena. They are more than happy to be in 3rd place, it's sad to see a company that was once admired worldwide sink to the bottom. This is the new world order at AT&T.

T-Mobile colors ARE awful. No question, hands down terrible. Is that hot pink, fushia, purple-pink?? I need to check Crayola…. But carry on with your ATT bashing….
T-M service, especially in the NE is just meh…lukewarm.

‘Predatory fees…’. No point is throwing everything you can think of against the company that allows you to feed yourself and family and keep your electricity going. No argument that T could do many things better, but don’t think the competition is all rainbows and unicorns. They’re not! Stop whining and get back to playing online poker on the company’s dime. Checkout T-Mobile’s website, maybe you can get a job there.

Nothing wrong with being #3 carrier. Still money to be made.

We switched to T-MO. T-MO is cheaper than with T employee discount. Think about that and let that sink in. As for service, both carriers are just ‘meh’ for 5g unless in a downtown metropolitan, then both are ‘good’ not great. T-MO bills as advertised. None of that tricky nonsense T does on a bill. T-MO for the win.

AT&T mobility is doing well. Those guys cannot compete with AT&T.

@hws+1bJW1Aua: garish colors? Oh yeah, that's much worse than losing over $100 Billion on silly adventures, foregoing the acquisition of much-needed 5G spectrum, and enacting customer service policies that are filled with predatory penalties and hidden fees.

Face it, the fantasy of T being the leader in mobile service is more flimsy than a house made of toilet paper, even if Stink, McFreshy, and every other c-suite liar tries to tell you otherwise.

So many comments about the amazing, awesome, flawless, effortless capability of T-Mobile. Saying that stuff doesn't make it so......The reality is that T is still the leading mobile provider in the U.S. even in 2021. T-M -- They're cheap, coverage has always been spotty and their corporate colors are garish. But woohoo for T-Mobile.

I hate ATT. But, have any of you actually tried to use TMobile?!? its a complete joke! their data is insanely slow. their coverage map is complete BS. You generally get what you pay for.
