@hxm+13JuRY1x - Usually before layoffs there is a hiring freeze. Likely the position was open when you applied and they couldn't follow through due to the freeze. It may open up later, but to be honest, you might want to take it as a sign and go elsewhere.
Just move on. So few good recruiters in that company. Lots of better places for you to land.

Well this explains why I was interviewed 4 months ago, the status STILL shows "interview" and I can't get HR/recruiting to even reply with a yes or no. I'm cool with a "no thanks, we'll pass" answer. It's just uncool to not even acknowledge.
