Meeting invite template

Mtg invite are being sent for Monday morning, pre lunch. Ideally around 9 or 10, 15 mins, 30 if the boss is more empathetic to talk or help more.

Invite header will have a formal tone and not be a 'sync-up'. Straight giveaway is "1:1" "name1:name2" or just a vague "meeting" headline.

Mgr has to click on a link to indicate conversation happened. Be calm, its not easy for anyone, most difficult if you are at the receiving end.

You can ask for feedback, but trying to reason will be fruitless as the person is already talking through a script. Thats not the person you know them to be in that mtg.

Negative scenario: ive known some a--hat mgrs clone the same invite with entire team so the person doesnt leak it.
You should leave such leaders anyway like avoiding the plague.

If you don’t see the invite yet . Does it mean you’re safe from LR? >

If no one initiates the LR communication with you, over email or WebEx chat or call, you are safe. .... till the next LR.

My manager didn't send me an invite. I logged in at 7:25am and she immediately messaged me "Hey I need to meet with you before our team call at 7:30". She sent me a meeting link and I said "Am I getting LR'd?" and she said yes. She started stammering.

I said "I don't care how difficult this is for you, just read the script"....after she was done I said "Click the box so I can get this started" I hung up on her.

This process isn't worth your time. Just get it done and move on. You'll be so glad when you get a better job somewhere else.

Dont care just gimme my severance info and get it over with. Considering I know my Mgr had to have some input and provide some names of people to fire I would tell him fu-k you for keeping all the dead weight losers but I dont want to waste my breath and show any concern. Its a blessing in disguise I have no desire to work here after this bullsh-t.
