We had seven people on our team. They laid off three yesterday and this morning I get an email where I am CCed asking to take Work that belonged to the person laid off and put it in my name. Those that got laid off for the lucky ones.
Something something THINK AGAIN!
It could be tomorrow. They are playing with us.

Our teams were hit. Location strategy. About a dozen people in product and tech for branch. It's about 3% of Chainsaw Charlie -2 group

We are too top heavy. Too many mangers from legacy WF which makes it challenging to eliminate corruption.
I can only hope the GOLDEN TICKET arrives today.

I love your comment. I have a meeting scheduled for today. If I'm displaced, I won't be rubbing my chest on my boss's. Lol. I will miss my coworkers, popcorn and endless pizza. I'll have to go the the gym and work off all of that endless pizza during displacement. Lol. 🍀

It's not a real WF conversation without that.
A meeting was scheduled. I walked in. Intense eye contact. I was told I was being laid off.
I took off my shirt. I rubbed my chest against his, which was weird because I’m a dude. They called HR and security.
I was told I was getting a package but I didn’t want his.
I grabbed documents from HR. Blah blah blah. They walked me out.
But not before I told everyone that I will miss their welcoming smile and incredible candor. I will miss circling back, fostering incredible relationships, and forming strategic partnerships. And the popcorn I left cooking in the microwave for 20 minutes.
