Every time I bring forward a good idea some senior SME or Advisor either steals it and takes credit or tries to ki-l it or minimize the impact. What gives? 15 years of this bullsh-t. I am done bringing ideas forward and am going to quiet quit in place.

SMEs in O&G are a joke. The few who really were experts in their fields are either retired, dead, or stacking cash as highly sought after consultants.
If an SME were really that good they would be independently marketable, licensed, and working for themselves or a reputable consulting firm.

@OP Of course-How else would have them be the place they are today? Also they are great in lecturing people XOM is not for everyone.... I would appreciate if they add to their speech that people like them turned this place to a jungle
