Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

Is the reorg complete or more to come?

Anyone hearing of additional restructuring or workforce reductions in Fidelity Technology after the recent reorg? Curious whether teams are expecting further changes later this year or if the current reorganization is considered complete.

I used a script to track recent active job postings and changes from historical job postings based on the business units.
My data tells me there are many more layoffs from what I can see. If you look up your role / department you will see the writing on the wall.
Federal Laws can protect your job if you meet certain criteria, joining the military can provide significant federal job protections for your civilian employment through the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). This law is one of the strongest federal protections related to job security in the context of layoffs or employment interruptions

@je I’m in FAE and literally so excited. I was hoping to be cut last time, but now I have another chance!

2026 will go down in history as Fido's "year of RIF".

I wish they would just do it all now and get it over with so I can update my Linked in and talk about how humbled and honored I am to be selected in the next round of layoffs.
