jd is just the puppet. pk is the puppet master. the bod wants jd there, they hired him. jd is doing exactly what pk and the board wants him to do
Everyone else did their job, that mo--n did not. The product has never looked worse, stock is down, and he has slashed talent on his way in, and way out. What a useless mess.

There’s no way he will survive beyond 6 months.
Past CEOs who objectively did significantly less to damage the company were fired as soon as it was financially expedient to do so. Unless the boards collective will to continue Phil’s vision has completely putrefied, they absolutely must let him go.
Otherwise, in the least, an apology tour is likely in the works.
