Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Millionaire Executives

Intels millionaire executives need to have a long hard moment of reflection. You greedy fu--s have taken an inspirational exciting respected company and ran it into the dirt. None of you have any respect for what Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore built. ( Yes I'm talking to you also Pat Gelsinger.) You are a bunch of money grubbing elite executive pricks. Now go on back to your country clubs, golf courses and estates and eat like the little piggies you are with all your ill gotten gains but know this: You don't deserve to stand in the hallways of the once great Intel

Rule of 75 is dead.

@jih Don’t kid yourself managers largely are millionaires too if they’ve been around at grade 9-11 very long.

They used us and milked intel for their on benefit. They kept the ruse going as long as they could increasing their private wealth. They fully knew the reality but didn’t care as long as they got their moneys. But now gig is up. Let’s see whole bails on us first. We should make it our mission that they can never find work anywhere else with terrible reviews and sending unsolicited messages to the new companies HR regarding their performance.

Glad someone brought up MR. Grrr. The way he empire-built during his tenure, I often wondered what the CEO did all day.

(Murthy) Renduchintala got away with coasting because of leaderships complacency. Andy Grove would have fired that fu--ing guy 2 weeks in.

MR is one of the worst, bet he's still enjoying his post-Intel life with his $25 million sign-on bonus.

My manager used my hard work to get a promotion. The only difference between Intels current managers and executives is the managers think and act like they are millionaires and the executives are actually millionaires.

Shame on you all! How dare you! Our management is best in the industry. Your personal manager is trying hard to fight for you! You should be grateful to them.

There are so many wrong decisions made by managements. However, no owner to be responsible for the fault. They all get promoted in fact.

I see this frequently in management level. In TD, one higher manager made the wrong decision, and everyone followed. The manager is not even able to tell the difference of hardware, software and data. Very sad... This is the reason I am leaving Intel this time by enhanced retirement. It will need 5+ people to take my current projects. So they will come to a halt!

They are a disgrace ; I hope they get kicked out and never grace the tech industry again. Greedy naive twats. Got some first hand insight to some of the business changes being made today - all totally stupid ; it’s beyond shameful. I’ll be glad when I exit shortly … so sad to say after nearly 30 years. Sorry for anyone who stays

In my defense I am the OP. A 20 Year Ex-employee who fought hard to keep the I-phone project and saw the decline with my own eyes. You got a problem with that? Let's do some constructive confrontation, A$$ kisser.

All you had to do in the 90s - 2000s was go to the Napa Valley and you would regularly see Intel executives splashing out cash. I work in an exclusive wine tasting room and I'll tell ya, they were a different bread of super wealthy loosers. Maybe I should write a book?

I agree with the OP, but Pat is far from alone. As for CEOs, BK was the worst offender. But let's not forget that for years, the entire ELT was also equally guilty of excessive personal greed.
