Why would Ford layoff employees entering the summer selling period. They usually crank up production on fast selling models.
It is already happening in Dearborn.
Does anybody know what groups are targeted? Any groups excluded?
i was laid off 11/12/24 as one another over 50 year old.
End of the month is usual..if it spills over then more paychecks, right?

I heard layoffs everyday of 2025. GSR1-LL1 Including CEO. Ford Family being replaced too. Entire new workforce every 24 hours. It's coming...
Don't believe anything you hear anonymously. The Global Town Hall will be the official cascade from leadership, if there is anything occurring.
Thus, it is advised to attend.

I say there will be layoffs, in either May, June, July or August. When we get closer to the 4th quarter I will predict layoffs for the remaining months of the year.
It will be contract, purchases services, and then Ford direct.
Europe is good up until the end of April, but same conditions can apply them also.
