Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Why Cisco HR & Leaders not watching this space?

Cisco always ask for honest unbiased feedback. This forum is doing just that. Deep insights from trenches and people that should matter. Is Cisco listening or watching?

Comment if you know this forum & opinions matter to Cisco, and changes ahead. I bet HR is watching this space, just the way they watch Glassdoor - it’s critical for any business to feel the purse, and to take corrective actions before the patient dies or goes in coma.

Changes are coming, soon and plenty.

If Cisco is watching this space, they might want to look into certain people listing, “In training all day”, on their calendar’s when in reality, they’re taking the time off. I have a hard time believing someone is in training 5-10 days every two months.

Cisco IT control your browser, so even outside the office, you have no privacy.

If you're misguided enough to post on this site from your corporate laptop or within a Cisco office, well..

They do watch this space . I know people who have been interrogated by Cisco HR on suspicion of posting on this space.

Then I guess you should watch what you post, especially from a Cisco laptop. I watch, and sometimes reply, all from my Cisco laptop and have since I discovered this site back in 2013 or 2014. I'm still here and have never had to talk w/ HR about my posts.

Then again, there are id10t's who post comments (with their names attached) in the Cisco Beat/Check-In's and make "orange" comments. I would say "red", but "red" is restricted repeat offenses if I understood the Conscious Culture training we have to take this quarter.

@1zbs+1rOIz0JW appears to be a troll. Going around copy-pasting the same stuff in every thread. Either about blow a gasket or needs to grow up or both.

I know one guy who did stylometric analysis of the posts and comments on here. According to the analysis he did they found 300+ unique styles , apparently even managed to statistically match 50+ of the 'active' posting people to employees.

@1zbs+1rOIz0JW - you forgot "now that Cisco just had its first layoff everyone is going to quit in protest." And "we need a union." And "useless people deserve employment forever." And... Please try to keep up.

On the other hand, if you're implying Cisco doesn't have serious structural problems, some of which are called out here, you become part of the hack threads whining about people whining about real problems.

@jkf+1rOIz0JW - you are spot on. The two dozen trolls post 95% of the useless content. Search 30/60/90 old posts….Different day, same old recycled garbage - the crying UKI yahoo, the guy who always talks about unions, leadership layer drama, blah, blah, blah.

Comments posted are anonymous so how Cisco HR are interrogating and putting suspected employees on PIP on posting? Is this not too far out of imagination? LOL Hilarious

Well apparently they are #1 place to work for 4-5 yrs in a row .. and people remaining in Cisco are clapping .. so you should get the irony by now.. and from where they get their opinions..

Why does Apple not monitor their own discussion spaces on their own web sites where people are asking how to work around an endless list of bugs? Like Cisco, they don't care.

Please. This site is mostly garbage. Probably the same two dozens employees constantly complaining about anything and everything. Many comments are truly clueless. Remember, someone somewhere voted Cisco #1 place to work!

@ynq+1rOIz0JW They don’t use this forum for any constructive discussion but to start their witch-hunt. They use this forum to put people on PIP and strong arm them out, based on _suspicion only_. This has happened in the UK org. As some others have stated, HR does the bidding for the incompetent, corrupt managers.
