They don't "have to' payout bonuses to anyone or at any time.

@1ajm+1vusiK3m- your innocence is endearing. Your post is a clear indication you do not sit in on the big discussions.

Look at how triggered you respondents are over the truth. It is “normal” because it’s been happening. If it were to not happen it would be abnormal. Oh wait, you’d do it differently because blah blah blah. Shows that you don't know how to think big picture enough to understand the impact of choices.

Also @ljp+1vusiK3m not gonna happen. You are regurgitating literally the same garbage that is spilled every year that never comes to fruition. 12/12 is the cut off for nothing. Pro-rated bonuses can be paid out from any separation date. Big cuts 60 days out so 401k matches don’t have to be paid out! Oh wait, didn’t happen. All the same drivel from employees who have their heads under rocks.

But as always, I’m glad you’re still here. It makes my double digit bonus % and high single digit % merit increases year over year so easily to get without su-king up or licking that big black boot of oppression.

There is a need to make sure they cut people before 12/12 so they do not have to payout bonuses.

There will be "normal" layoffs -- until it involves you. The managers will try to de-personalize them for as long as they can. Its probably part of their bonus (how efficient they are).

There's nothing normal about laying off 1000 people a month. At least, it won't be normal for long. We only have so many employees. It's all good, when we are down to the last few thou and they are all in HY, I'm sure you'll still be running your mouth here about how there was never a "bloodbath" so it's "ok".

Quick, where is the BLOODBATH poster?

We all know what's going to happen, same thing that has been happening........nothing.

At-least nothing unusual. It will be typical "normal" layoffs. I do appreciate all the gaslighting though. It makes the weak feel uncomfortable.
