Since Wells Fargo seems determined to have a lot of small layoffs instead of one major round like the majority of other banks, what are the chances more of us are getting cut this coming week?

Layoffs should begin today…unsure of how deep or widespread
WF being WF, we should expect a burst of layoffs to happen before the bonus payouts.
So the next 9 days may get rough.
No intention to gaslight here but there is a cut coming this week, tech is affected under SVB. My only issue is I haven’t been able to find out how wide or long this cut will be but it’s deep down to the bone. Not just a few middle managers. I guess I’ll find out Thursday.
Silent hiring or whatever they call it more likely. They will triple/quadruple your work load before they can you
I doubt next week since compensation notifications need to happen.....after that anything stupid WF does will no longer surprise me

One major round of layoffs? LYou mean Goldman? Maybe capital one? Not really widespread, not really the majority and not the size of % as tech.
Tech over hired and companies like Twitter had a lot of non-essential people that interestingly enough, the company is functioning just well without. Everyone thinks they are essential and are surprised at cuts. People are surprised that companies actually care about profits and shareholders. People are surprised that we’re a capitalist based society.
I would be surprised if there were none.
