Riiiiight ... it's _soooo_ hard getting into AWS. I mean creating a VPC with a CIDR block, carving out a couple of subnets in different AZs, spinning up EC2 instances, safekeeping the SSH keys, assigning the instances to the right AZ for resiliency, front-ending them with a LB, correctly configuring Security Groups and optional NACLs, patching the route table to use the IGW and assigning an elastic IP to the instances is truly rocket science. Now the question is: do _you_ understand half of what I wrote?

I would get around $300k per year in RSU’s as a grade 89 aka 13.
I’ve since left cisco though. Can make a lot more in the FAANGS! Make more money and much more interesting work. A 13 at Cisco can easily have a total comp north of 700k a year at a hyperscaler if they are good. Which is to say most of the good ones are already gone.

That is complete BS. More like ~100k. No Gr13 has gotten 350-400k annually. That's VP level RSUs. You were never a people manager at Cisco...
@max+1bfnRzwL You are full of BS. The hard max for G13 is 430k for US / 550k for Bay Area with average target being 75k for US and 95k for Bay Area.
G13 for Sales is a director or G89 for principle if on sales engineering side. Neither of which you are if you are asking this question as you'd have access to this.
