Required to be on campus but can't have a home base desk?
Hate it.
Why jam this 2018 plan down our throats when the world seriously changed since then? Some peeps are 100% remote still. So those who have to come in should be able to have a home base desk.
An assigned locker = high school.
It's insulting.
"You must be here. But don't get too comfortable. But make sure you are on campus!!!"
They’ve got to admit that sticking with this decision is just bad. It actively destroys productivity and collaboration.

Is it really fair that some people are mandated to be at the office, even though they could easily also work from home while others were randomly chosen to work from home?
Maybe it's at least time to rotate groups?

This remote crsp, especially the 100% remote cr-p, is soooo over.
The paid week off is such a weird bandaid.
“We know we have a retention issue due to poor management. Wait 11 months and we’ll give you a company holiday.”
I’m not going to complain about it. But I would prefer we fix the underlying problems.
Well…if you are so unhappy, why don’t you leave and find someplace else where you will get everything you want? Isn’t having a job more important than having a desk? Many companies that had remote work are now requiring employees to return to the office 5 days a week. At least you are able to still work remote 2 days AND you have 4 flex weeks that can be used to work remotely PLUS you have a week off PAID in August! I’d rather have all of that than a stupid desk! Seriously, if you’re going to have such a cr-ppy attitude, you should think really hard about where you are and if Nike is the right place for you.
Now we get to waste time going to and from lockers, trying to find sonewhere to work, and trying to find each other. Someone wanna run the math on time wasted?
Frankly I’m amazed that someone had an answer to the question “How do we make open office floor plans even worse?”
Max people on campus is how to ensure ongoing OR corporate tax breaks & justify the billion$ in shiny new buildings; hoteling/no home base is how to skirt WaCo occupancy statutes; difficult to prove a violation if there are no static number of desks or bodies, which allows numbers to be fabricated up or down depending on the benefit in doing so.
Are we required to be on campus? I haven't been since covid started.
