Does the layoff in first phase is only in WHQ or other geos as well?! Q4 is for other geos ?

EMEA will be impacted badly too... just they need to follow local govt rules...thats the only thing.
EMEA will be hit. But they have specific labor laws there that require a longer period of notice to government before they can act upon. That's the only reason why they aren't now. This is my sixth rodeo. EMEA always about 6 months later.
@mfd - reliable sources say EMEA may or may not have layoff atleast for FY24! There can be some in FY25 but very small count! Rest geos are hit badly in Q3 and Q4!
Europe will get hit too. There is no escape. Q4 not q3
@duv - so no layoff in europe if 1600 gets cut off by May? Lucky EMEA folks! Rest is doomed by May!
Europe later as their labor laws that protect the worker. This unlike the USA where workers get treated like garbage.
Only WHQ may be for this month and rest in next quarter?
