Oh really, keep it I don’t want to pay taxes on it. I’d rather go to work every day and pay taxes on that money!
10K Between VSP and RIFS at end of year !!!!
@1jdq+1tcLlQUO they do
Not surprised by the low take rate. Bad economy, high inflation and a horrible job market. Then top that off with losing an significant extra chunk of money to taxes due to basically having 2 years of income hit in a single tax year with a 09/20 off-date for those getting 60 weeks. They'd probably be getting more takers if they had structured the VSP so the payments hit next tax year, either via a later initial off-date or deferred payments.
It's still early so from what HR is telling me, there is a low take rate. If it doesn't hit the 18 to 20% threshold, expect a major RIF in September or possibly November. Leadership needs to set the table for 2025 financial guidance.
They really need one of those fund raiser thermometers on the aboutyou volunteer page. Maybe the execs have a little dashboard that looks just like it.
yeah, the number is 200k
Me! ✌️
Way to answer the wrong question.
OP doesn’t want to know how many RECEIVED the OPTION
OP wants to know how many are LEAVING
Anyone offered the VSP can go LOOK AND SEE how many people got the offer. RTFM People.
It's going to be big because a lot of off-shore locales need the jobs for less!
I doubt that any but a handful of people know at this point. I'd be skeptical of anyone posting numbers before the July back out period.
