I'd think if you got an email from your org's leader to work remotely next week - then you/your group are included in phase 1 "corporate enabling functions"
The business is suffering partially because its resources were gutted to fund GT, HR, CI, and other functions that grew out of line with revenue. SG&A skyrocketed and those functions didn’t make us any more efficient. This is an attempt to undo some of what CDA did that damages the core biz.
It’s funny because those departments are critical for the functioning of the business. The business if failing.
Enabling is dsm, tech, finance, accounting, HR, facilities, real estate, planning, anything not directly running the business.
