IT has been a garbage fire since it was infiltrated by unqualified and incompetent Husky staff! Truly mind boggling! Network issues, programs that constantly crash, constantly backing up networks and license server breaks that require inefficient and constant log-offs and shut downs. It’s a train wreck!

My manager is responsible for just 4 people. Does nothing all day but su-k up to his leader and micro- manage my team. Zero value employee.
The IT leadership team is useless. They know nothing and rely on “advisors”
Too many VP’s, directors, sr managers and managers with only a few direct reports. If you don’t have at least 8-10 people reporting to you then you shouldn’t have a leadership role.
I’ve worked for several intermediates and majors, and CVE has by far the biggest, yet worst IT group I have encountered. It has gotten far worse since the Husky merger/takeover. Somebody please fix this mess.

We can see how badly Cenovus is getting affected because of low quality people from Husky that we ended up with. Pathetic to see this. Nothing we can do. Every Husky person is a backstabber, beware.

They already cleaned up IT, they threw away all the legacy CVE trash.
Small “efficiency “ initiatives are in progress but we are Husky 2 now so nothing major until we “see the iceberg on the horizon “
My guess… the demoted executive will clean up IT and SCM
