Celestica Tucson here. Joined Honeywell R&O in 2015. We (ISC) transitioned from Honeywell to Celestica in 2017. Last year, before COVID and RIFs, there were 200 Celestica and 200 Honeywell here at Tucson.
Honeywell is leaving Tucson, and taking 20 to new jobs in Phoenix (Tempe? Deer Valley?). The Honeywell people that I work with quit and got other jobs locally. I know an engineer who is staying until the end to get a severance payment, and I have heard that there are others doing the same.
The Honeywell people worked from home, and now they are not even at Honeywell, so we don't get any news. Do any Honeywell Aero people know anything more? Facts, rumors, myths, innuendo, anything appreciated.
