Thread regarding Ford layoffs

No one talking about more salaried layoffs last week?

A bunch of contractors were told they're services no longer are necessary. Also another few dozen of blue badges shown the door.

Death by a thousand papercuts!

@njm Thats a little unrealistic, but if a huge shareholder (like a Warren Buffet or the manager of a pension fund) were to sue the board for not operating in the best interests of the shareholders, that might be a little more in the realm of possibility. Thats pure folly though. Warren Buffett has too much common sense to own a single share of this dumpster fire. I seem to remember some company (an Airline maybe?) being sued by a stockholder for not operating in the best interests and winning. I think the upshot was that the CEO was canned, but I dont remember any specifics.

would it make sense if everyone working for Ford sues the company then gets protected by laws covering retaliation?!
