I'm so over the constant layoffs and stress about job security. I’ve been thinking about walking away, but the unknown freaks me out, to say the least. I guess it's hard to let go of something familiar, even if it’s not ideal. I wonder, for those who made the jump, did you ever regret it?

Made the jump, best thing ever for my mental health. Didn't realize exactly how toxic it was until I got out. Still miss some of the people but no regrets
Weird to bring up Verizon and ATT as alternatives when OP said they are over layoffs
A change would do you good

“Why bother coming on here once you moved on?”
Some people have worked for Crown for many years prior to leaving and still have many close friends, colleagues and even family members at the company. It’s only natural to want to hear about the state of the company.
Others like to come here to hear about the dumpster fire, especially those who were let go.
Either way, there is always a level of interest about past jobs for everyone.

Many telecom companies are hiring, so don't be misled by CCI and the daily chaos stemming from a lack of industry knowledge. AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others are well-oiled machines. I'm glad I made the leap
No. I left early last year on my own with 15+ years at Crown. I have not regretted that decision once.
