Bad managers tarnish reputation

I thought moving to BNY Mellon would be a great career progress for me. I forgot that a very bad manager, who continuously frustrates the whole team, can spoil an entire organization. Why does BNY Mellon allow such managers to tarnish its reputation?

I had one that came from The German large bank. He was a real mo--n. And as toxic as can be. This crew came in and their whole reason for being there was to reduce staff.

It's easier for senior management to not be challenged, and therefore a culture developed of promoting "yes-men" into middle and other management positions. Typically the layers of management all kiss up, bite sideways and kick down. This fudgy lot have very little skill, constantly change course to appease seniors, and this leaves workers nowhere.
