SO, apparently I have to sign-up for an Adobe account before I can see my Severance Package. The email I received had a link to the Severance, which was actually a sign-in page for Adobe. It is called Adobe Sign which a document signage for small business. Before I can view my Severance documents, I have to sign-up for a 14 day 'free' account, and then pay $20.99 a month. I also have to agree to their legal terms of use which ban me from taking legal action, and Class Action Lawsuits. They want me to sign away my legal rights BEFORE allowing me to see the Severance Documents. I will be contacting the Labor department, because this cannot possibly be legal.

Nope, just not a drama queen.

I received a similar email. And no-there is no option to use adobe reader when the email sends me directly to a sign up page.
Calm down, you just need a Adobe reader that's all. Most PC's have them. There is no merit for a class action suit either. It's a reorganization and position elimination. Happens all the time in business.
