Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Nobody Cares Anymore

I felt that since the RTO news came that people's drive or motivation (whatever was left) has been decimated.
You can hear it in people's tone and for those who returned to the office you can see it in their eyes.

This is going to be SUPER bad for the culture and health of the entire company.

My team lost 2 people (out of 8) last week only because they left for flexible work offered at their new jobs. Manager told us to cover...everyone signed off early yesterday and not a single person said anything on the phone.

Say what you want or feel how you want about RTO, but the point is...this style of mgt is really creating a toxic environment for us all. This is not a place I want to be in.
I'd take the layoff package any day without hesitation.

Good to have folks back in office! For those in Charlotte check out whats available on the lunch menu in Uptown restaurants. It's a way of saying thank you.

it's comical when leadership parrots the same message as BM and directs.
"We're an in office company", "During this work from home posture"....
Just parrot and agree and you will be fine.

All part of the plan to push out the complainers (old timers) and hire younger and cheaper.

@ofa+1cPX3JQX Yeah, because you're not an adult unless you risk your health for a company that would fire you to save a dollar. Give me a break.

RTO has nothing to do with consumer satisfaction. All about the suits looking like they are managing but in reality they are invisible and we as employees now know how much they care for our health.

Never been so happy to have been laid off in August

Saying “we are a work from the office company” means absolutely nothing. The best they can do is come up with an assertion like this. It’s merely wind from empty suits.

Yep my bosses are saying this thing too (didnt have an all hands call or anything though, so different org from you). This verbiage is coming from BM himself.

Literally NOBODY wants to go to the office lol.

On our organization all hands call today, they had cheerleaders all saying how great they feel to be back in the office. Leader also said "We are a work from office company" in response to people asking about flexibility.
