Beyond the rethoric of protecting diversity (just of the protected board, BOD & C.) inside this hypocrict firm which full his mouth of the sweet peace and love propaganda of we are all friends but none is equal to them, we are thrown out with layoffs or splitoff treated like rags... and none reacts apart some heros. We have studied but we have just to suffer and hope in some undefinded help, like miserables ?

for the dystopian quote so current especially here in this firm. It was already in act, in the world, the change of mind, mood and values at the time of the movie. But not fully realized. What has been lost, seems to me, is the deep and gentle and respectful understanding and acceptation of the thread that binds, or should, the present, the past and the future. instead of its dis-ruption. As it is fashionable, but I fear without substance or understanding of the annexes and connected.
IBM's behaviour towards its older employees reminds me of the Carousel scene from the film Logan's Run. Change the age from 29 to 49 and you have a perfect metaphor for the nefarious activities of this failing organisation.
