Increasing visibility at work

I have been convinced of this many times, despite the competence and professionalism working quietly and hoping that managers will notice someone's efforts and commitment will not bring any advancement to the employee. But the question is is it possible to increase your visibility at work and be more noticed professionally without being annoying to others?

Yes. Do skip levels. Ask to be on committees. Start up a daily inspiration email to send to the larger DG in your org (with permission of course). If it already exists, volunteer to take it over. Request side by sides with teams you’re interested in. Ask your manager how to gain more exposure outside your team. If your manager won’t help, schedule a skip level and ask them.
