Yep. And it funnels all the way down to so many positions. The amount of people at Crown that have no clue what they are doing on a daily basis is astounding. It is truly mind blowing. It really shows though with manager/director and up. These people can't produce anything, can't answer any questions.....they really serve no purpose. We can talk fiber review, tower this, small cell that, which is all good and well, but this place needs a massive gutting of the staff that have no business being in their positions. Obviously there are good people at Crown, but I know you know what I mean.....

JP is just another example of leader that's unqualified and lacking experience for the position. The list goes on throughout the company. Until Crown can get a grasp on promoting and hiring qualified experienced leadership in this company and weed out the unqualified the saga will continue.

avq+1r9YBofu Agree. The only reason we kind of hit last year is a lot of the works was done before Elliot and the RIF. All the worthless Dir and VPs are already scrambling to defend their over paid positions. Making up random impossible numbers to hit bc some dashboard told them they can. Next they will gut network and fire most of the ICs. Then blame the people working for not doing there job. But it won’t happen bc no one will care and be to overworked. We are in a death spiral that won’t stop till upper management is gutted.

There is an extreme disconnect and true understanding of what the ground level teams do and the effort and time it takes to complete projects. The unrealistic asks and expectations to deliver with the small amount of staff drives morale so low. The numbers matter more than what we have to go through to accomplish anything.

A tech is a tech is a tech...That sounds like Qwest/Centurylink/Lumens train of thought. Oh that's right, the West is infested with people from there. Beginning with Humpty Dumpty's twin.

The simple fact that CL was demoted back to just fiber shows that CC leadership is being forced to course correct. The end will come quick when Towers functions are wholly separated from SC and Fiber. They tried and failed to push the notion that Tower/SC/ Fiber Enterprise are interchangeable. They are apples and oranges in every sense. From an asset management perspective to KPIs. These "geniuses" tried to say that Tower techs could perform Fiber Enterprise tech functions. They even changed their titles from Site Operations Managers to Field Operations Techs just like the SC/DAS techs were changed from RF technician. Neither have the capacity to even attempt to function in a Fiber Enterprise capacity, not even operate an OTDR. That's the problem when people never have been where the dirt meets the pavement. One has to at least understand what the ground level does and the challenges they face.

If its anything like the west, nothing will change until the whole regime is replaced. If they get rid of the VP's, they'll just find another yes person to take their place. Anyone that has a spine will get shown the door. Fiber needs to have a leadership change from c-suite all the way down to the director level at a minimum.

The Central Region is a disaster. It is by far the worst leadership I have ever had to endure.

With the rate people leave and now the hiring freeze there won’t be anyone left. I’ve never seen so many people quit. Most new people leave after 3 months it’s so bad.

Constant fire drills…asks are needed NOW…drop what you’re doing and give us what we need…nothing is ever enough. Overtime with salaried employees is expected almost on a weekly basis.
