Next WF CEO.

My money is on SVB! Any other potential insiders or outside the bank candidates?

Why not Flowers? He certainly has earned it with the Asset Cap removal.

@OP I'm kinda partial to that executive gal who wears black lipstick in her leather jumpsuit. She can pour that hot wax on my back until I scream my safe word " corndog!"

@pf+1jx3sc0q3

Not in tech, but I had always heard that he was one of the executives resisting the RTO nonsense, which is one reason why techies were among the last to be affected. Sure, eventually Shart and that POS SP forced it on everyone, but it wasn't immediate like a lot of LOBs.

Anyway, for you tech people, is the above rumors / fake news or what?

@a6 - SVB STARTED the location cr-p when he was on the Tech side. He was so inept in Tech they moved him to the bank side. He would be a horror show

The next CEO will be an insider who is an African American woman who I will not name here. Not because this organization has any interest to promote diversity , but because she is the most qualified and well rounded candidate.

Every current exec is either a Shart desciple or a sell out. I'd rather have fresh blood that comes in and gets rid of all these JPM rejects.

You think it will be a tech guy? You are crazy. It will probably be Mike Santomassimo. He has been carrying the load for a long time.

SVB? Really? The guy who was so out of touch with everyone in tech? The guy who delivered nothing? The guy who brought us T Kerrins and her nonsense. The guy who saved T Kerrins when she was being booted out as CIO. The guy she must have pictures of to keep her job? God I hope not.

SVB and you will have AI (via Service Now) control everything. Automated bullying. Fun.

SVB constantly pressures his employees, basically pushes things through when the objective hasn’t even been achieved yet. Only focuses on the metric reporting. Tone at the top of this company would be completely shot if he’s in charge.

When was Head of Technology, SVB told me on a call that he was supportive of wfh...especially for those with medical reasons, disabled veterans, etc. If he were to become CEO, I'm willing to bet that he would allow legitimate remote exceptions while still pushing the Location Strategy.

SVB is another CS. He maybe used to be cool when he ran Tech, but now he is just as cold hearted as CS. He will not allow any exceptions to location strategy, is constantly pushing for more layoffs (more big waves coming in CSBB for efficiency), and is only about bottom line. He seems friendly on his video AMAs and Town Halls, but his directs are afraid of him, and then they in turn push stress and more unrealistic expectations on their organizations to try to please him.

It’s time for a woman to take charge. Terri, JoAnn, or even Ellen would be a great candidate.

I would at least listen to what SvB has to say. If it's that vile POS SP, never.

SVB and we wouldn’t have this location strategy nonsense.

SVB wanted to expand the recruiting footprint, not shrink it.

But my guess is SP.
