Is it possible for Verizon employees to move to Pharma domain? I am asking because Basking Ridge and surrounding areas are filled with every pharma company on the planet earth with good paying salary.
I am not asking for someone who works in core Network but more like AI / Data/ product etc.
Now job search is not going to inevitable.. have you seen people crossing over from Verizon to Pharma?

I have been on a great pharma since layoffs and no where to be found up or down. Hey it does sound like a phone a pharono ?
A lot of employees are trying all sorts of pharma.
Someone in my group moved over to a pharma job in NJ earlier this year. He was in FP&A (finance) at VZ, and had no prior pharma experience. He generally liked VZ, but wasn't happy with our new org post-Nov RIF.
I haven't kept in touch with him after he left, so not sure how he is doing there.
Pharmacy is massively laying off too
@OP I have a few friends that were successful at this - they took contracting jobs initially to gain pharma experience.
You can always try. I have had co-workers go from VZ to Pharma, Aerospace, and logistics. There are other fields besides the bu%$#*)^t we deal with each day.
Pharma is very insular and generally really wants pharma experience. I've interviewed with some of them and that's what I got out of the process. That said, it doesn't hurt to try.
