Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

ISC Impact?

Will ISC finally be impacted by the layoffs announced today? To date we haven’t lost anyone on my team because we are “essential for keeping the supply chain running”.

Yes, PR is impacted. Does anyone have numbers? We lost about 12% in our group during the first round.

If you get a meeting with your boss an HR is on it too, then you’re out.

Terrible timing with the economy but MM and his little rookie VP whipping boy SH have made terrible decisions for years. Not even sure how MM has a job after driving past due through the roof for the last 5 years. Previous ISC VP’s would have been booted long ago.

@ppf you’re right. Any idea if Puerto Rico is included in that number and do you know if buyers are included? Asking because of the backlog.

Honeywell is taking the same steps as the other industries even airlines that has been making continous adjustments to their workforce. Its called right sizing with little fear of a backlash since its been norm for the past few months. Read the papers where news of layoffs are posted everyday. My sorry guess would be that it will not be the last since they are continously looking at the cost to bolster up the stock prices.

Unfortunately, yes. I have confirmation of about an 18% cut where I’m at in ISC. The timing here is just incredible. Beyond belief we are going through this exercise again in just under a month.
