Meta, Google, Amazon, did massive layoffs did their reputations take much of a hit?
Historically speaking this is the time of year for layoffs. Right after spring focal/insites.
What exactly are you people missing?
Layoffs are going to be a standard exercise for Intel moving forward. Intel must rid itself of all those grade 7,8,9 people that are making these horrible strategic decisions for the company that have gotten us here.
Maybe not next week, but a bad quarterly report is pretty much always a guarantee of reductions. They constantly happen in trickles to avoid WARN notices giving Intel an even worse reputation.
