Whats happening in the product and merchandising orgs? also rumors of new merchandising teams being created--what??

Two apparel merch VPs were laid off on Friday.
Merch has been told no more layoffs, no org changes. Merch and product need to be cleared out. They literally don’t know what their jobs are.
We have to wait until q4, honestly hoping for layoffs and a reorg. Merch and Product are very cliquey and more who you know not what you know , with the same tired ideas being passed around because of yes men culture. Change it up and let some stuff go across all Geos.

There were a ton of merch roles posted a few weeks ago, so not really a rumor.
Product goes in q4 is my understanding
