Hearing a LOT of Chatter about March 15th...

It was made very clear the bank is enforcing their core location strategy and folks not at core locations are subjected to possible layoffs. It was communicated there are additional layoff “waves.” I believe there are different reasons for different LOB’s however in GRM there is definitely a location strategy. There were manager talking points distributed. This is not a drill or fear mongering. The dates are always subject to change because the bank can do whatever it wants and a lot of steps have to fall into place.
you'll find out soon enough....
If he keeps guessing maybe he will get close some year.
Rarely happens in March at scale. Typically attrition is higher after incentives. Even if lower $$$ year / year, many want the payout before leaving.
That said, leadership generally wont act until they see March attrition rate.
The person who said 2/25 first said 3/15 and now you guys are moving it to 3/17 because you got called out that's no one's getting laid off on a Saturday.
The bank isn't going to lay people off every 2 weeks
The person who said layoffs on 2/25, which happened, also said another one on 3/17.
Beware the Ides of March. Et tu, Brute?
Julius Caesar was as-----nated on this day.
I mean so many posts a few days ago kept saying March 15th March 15th. So yeah it looks like that's when the RSUs vest! Thanks for helping jog my memory I appreciate it.
Oh, and shame on the person calling me a m*on. You must be a member of the middle management waste currently on payroll. Sum*ag
hahhahahahahah yeah you were just walking by and heard 3/15 and wanted us to know because we have to stick together on a Saturday.
First, March 15 is a Saturday, so you are a mo--n. Second, if you've been around for some time, bank only makes cuts on Tuesdays/Wednesdays and mass cuts are usually in February/October.
They're going to do layoffs on a Saturday?
Actually I wasn't aware of the March 15th post, but I did hear people talking about it while I was walking on the path near the office yesterday and thought to post about it on here.
I think it's important for us workers to relay any information we hear and to stick together. If you don't agree, go find another post to argue on.
not again. you guys are ruthless with these dates and posts.
Someone said weeks ago 3/15 so it's not chatter it's you taking a previous post and saying omg guys panic again.
RSU day? There was a reason they did the last batch before March (RSU savings for them).
