Hi, all, if you’re ready to quit, today’s a decent milestone day to do it. If you’re employed as of today, you’re eligible for the annual 401k match. Note that for those hired 2021 or later, there’s a vesting schedule for to be mindful of. Or, if you have a little more left in your tank, after today there are 30 more business days until bonus payout.

Ethical companies match 401k contributions every pay period.
Nice to see that 11k bump in the number.
I'll take it. Might as well enjoy the last one a good number of us will ever get from Wells.
If you have made it this far and you are bonus eligible, stick around a little while longer. If you want a new job, start looking now so you will secure your new job after your bonus is paid out. Many companies are hiring and depending on your job, salary, level you are aspiring for, they will pay for your RSUs you are leaving behind, match or beat your bonus for next year, pay you more, possibly better benefits. Wells Fargo is not the only employer out there, spread your wings and you will do fine.
For the people who are holding out for severance, much like a loan is easier to get when you have good credit and income, it is easier to get a new job while you are still employed.
Control your destiny or let Wells Fargo control it for you and hope you make out okay. Up to you.
We had someone quit a week ago, could not believe it. She had simply had enough. Kind of mind blowing IMO. I am hanging on until bonus, then gone…
Never a bad time to quit (assuming there is something waiting for you on the other side). Every single day being employed here, regardless of the match or your productivity levels, benefits the company more than any one of us.
@qks+1q5YIDqB I believe op covered that in the last sentence
Why would you quit after match which is just 1 month before bonus. Quit after bonus.
