I hope whoever was impacted by layoffs to have better opportunities than Wells Fargo. I am posting here as I am curious what areas were hit the hardest by layoffs and if anyone has knowledge to prep us for our next transition. If you were laid off can you please tell us which function of the business are you under ?

risk will likely be hit hard in the coming weeks. big changes to be announced. makes sense given the number of managers and even st manager with 0 directs or managers and even directors with just a handful of directs. most of the layoffs will stem from spans and layers.

We will be laying off significant portion of credit risk middle management. Credit risk has always been a strength bur we are really top heavy with proportionally far more senior managers and directors than any of our peers. Mike and Charlie are laser focused on reducing waste so they will be targeting this area in the near future.
