In HR. Yes, we have 6 waves instead of 2 since you have to fire so many to make the same saves.
Far too many of the India resources can't do a damn thing without a detailed laundry list and waiting on someone in the US to give them all the instructions. After all that the US resources will end up doing or re-doing the work anyway. Nice "efficiency" there Chuck!
Instead of Tariff, DJT should add SOT (service offshore Tax) on corporations (40%) and all workers in offshore (50% on gross pay) to US government on every dollar they send from here ( su-king the American consumers). Contact E musk and include in DODGE.
I second what you said-: @1fgo+1vWciS— I am an american born indian and working with them is the worst thing, lack critical thinking and very poor work ethic.

The only problem with this theory is that the execs don't care about your location and the costs have never been cut.
Everyone I have been forced to work with in India is terrible. JV team is an understatement. I actively try to not interact because they don’t know how to be professional. Cultural barrier for sure.
Yeah right.
Already moved only keep minimum req.

India is still increasing headcount. Layoffs in India are performance based layoffs. Their goal is to have cheaper and better engineers.
US layoffs are location based and cost cutting layoffs. Displaced engineers will be replaced by hiring in India.
If DJT is true to his words (this time around), dramatic decrease in H1Bs and offshoring. But no one will keep him to those words this time either.
