Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

A world class company requires a world class leader

I meant a leader who can lead and not just talk.

If Intel wants to compete with TSMC, hire people from TSMC as leaders and copy their culture. Don't mix other ideologies (religion/DEI) in the business management. It is a business in a highly competitive market. There is no room for mistakes.

Alternatively, it can structure a deal with TSMC and let them manage the fab business. It is a win-win for both sides. TSMC would have the geo-diversification. Intel would not have the heavy cost burden. Intel can then focus on products.

There are very few world class leaders in the industry today. None at Intel. We just have some wandering generalists.

World class companies don't get 10s of billions of dollars of tax payers money.

INTEL third world class companies will become sweet shops very soon. Don't ask for a rise or benefits anymore. Shut up and work until you get laid off or died.

Let’s face it: we aren’t at TSMC’s level… not by a shot…
