Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

No initial Covid test required to enter WF site

Ya’ll realize those needing to test have been communicated they can RTO if their test kits have not yet arrived?
New hires will enter vaccine status on day 1 and will test once test kit arrives for them.
Both situations, employees are allowed to work onsite without a negative test result and no vaccine.
WF not being transparent to those vaccinated that they’ll potentially be in contact with unvaccinated and untested employees. Don’t spout safety WF then allow this to happen.

I like how the anti vaxxers drive up their own misinformation by keeping upvoting themselves

Getting your news from Bill Gates I see. I thought you weren’t supposed to listen to anyone who isn’t a doctor?

I think it's funny that you think they will drop testing. The plan is to move the cost to the employee side after a short while, if they don't decide to lay the unvaccinated off.

@dle+1fHpBzX0 not true at all. Please do your research, and not using some obscure websites.

"A closer look at the numbers two years into the pandemic shows two unmistakable takeaways: COVID ki---d more than eight times as many Americans in 2021 as the flu ki---d in the 2017-18 season, the worst in more than a decade."

What about a continuing 1500 deaths a day from COVID means it's over?

It is not over at all. Asia has all time high levels of infection and spread. Hospitalizations are up there as well. We will have that wave hit us mid-April to June, just like the last two years.

@k-m The point was to say that even though WF is requiring masks for unvaccinated associates, there's no way for them to enforce it. This way they appear like they're taking Covid concerns into account when it's all just for show.

My entire extended family and all of my friends still do not go to indoor public spaces unless we have to. We have all sworn off concerts, movies, restaurants - unless they offer takeout, PTA meetings, in person conferences, and church for at least the next few years if not permanently. We order groceries with curbside pickup. We mask up when we must go into any building that is not our home or the homes in our bubble. We have larger get togethers outside when we can. We do not use public transport of any kind and we do not allow those outside of our bubble into our homes.

This is not something that's going to go away. This is not something that office work will fix. I will remain masked up even though I am boosted and vaccinated. I'm fine if this continues like this for a decade or more, and so are my family and friends. We focus on what matters, and anything outside of the bubble is of less concern that our people inside the bubble.

Nobody for the most part wants to go back, but it’s time to stop pretending to be afraid of Covid just to avoid RTO.
It’s so easy to see through.

Omg really? If your that fearful stay at home it saves lives. You do realize vaccinated people get Covid right? If you’re terrified of an unvaccinated person you should seek mental help as Covid is in your head

They're not enforcing masks for unvaccinated associates either.

All of this nonsense is likely to be ended soon anyway. The weekly testing requirements will be ended and it will become mask up if you want but don’t ask don’t tell on vaxx status. And that’s how it should be.

And those that are vaccinated can work without a negative test too. What’s your point?

The point is, WF is leading everyone to believe one thing but doing another. Has nothing to do with my personal opinions about Covid vaccines or testing.

OP, put on 4 masks and be scared. It will do wonders for you.
Your side of science already told you that vaccination and masks will not protect you 100%.
Enough already.
