Anyone have any details on the layoffs this Thursday in terms of total or departments? Any detail is appreciated.
I just know they are on Thursday.

just leave Valhalla and Garden City out of it. If any divisions have excess people, send 'em over here.
I doubt if frontline facing sales teams are going to be laid off, without them, there would be no Verizon at all! Although, there are some hoping for a VSP package like we got a few years ago before Verzion 2.0
@rqu+1jkQfZ06 - Truth. I thought I was safe back in 2015 when they rif'd about 5 thousand people and I was one of them.
2 of 10 execs would save a lot!!!!
I agree, cut 20%, or 2 out of every 10 sounds just about right.
Verizon met the $10B Expense savings goal back in 2021:

The 2025 savings was from Lowell, 10b in 10 years or something like that. No one has spoken of it since he left or how we're doing...
@rjw+1jkQfZ06 Where have you been? A company that is trying to save billions by 2025 will need to cut 20%, if not more.
@mfm+1jkQfZ06. Just throw any number out there. Why not 30%? Fearmongering.
