Anyone got any updates? I’ve seen 1 maybe 2 note they were impacted. With “major layoffs” as noted by multiple posters, I expected to see more people noting their impact.

please cut CTC across the entire bank !!!!! They are full of empty talk and lack substance. They create confusion without resolving anything. Most of them are woefully unqualified and incompetent

I’ll be straight with ya, a 15 minute business update call is probably not a good sign. Good luck to you, and hopefully I’m wrong!

Can you disclose your line of business?

I believe G represents "Growth" on the scorecard. I can't remember the scorecard since mine has been consistent for a few years, but I think it goes G, O, S (Growth, On-Track, Strong).

Basically, I think the poster is saying the low hanging fruit with lower performance will be the first to go.

What G's mean

I wish I had more specifics to share. Unfortunately at this time I don’t. It’s generally the G’s who will be impacted…but I know a lot of areas need to make cuts

Do you happen to have the Line of Business? I understand you dont feel comfortable being too specific, escpecially if you have limited knowledge but are we talking about Tech, Mortgage, Card Services, Bankers? So many roles, just curious on what area is going to see these impacts.

RIFs do NOT require WARN notices. So please get your facts straight before you speak.

@rs+1jjssmhvk
Most companies now layoff first then pay the severance for 60 days so technically they are still employed, and WARN notice submitted same day.

Bullsh-t:

Where's the WARN notice then? Do you id--ts even know what that is?
Warn requires employers to provide 60 days advance notice of pending plant closures or mass layoffs.
Who needs to provide notice:
Employers with 100 or more employees must provide a WARN notice.
What constitutes a mass layoff:
A mass layoff under WARN typically means laying off at least 50 employees within a 30-day period, representing at least one-third of the workforce at a site.

May vary state to state but for IL OP is bullsh-tting

These posts always feel like thirst traps. This is an anonymous site and you feel comfortable enough throwing out the Hail Mary that layoffs are coming but give no details as to where you heard, lines of business, or reasons you feel that way. There are layoffs every day somewhere in the company, that’s part of having 300k employees.

If you’re gonna make a post like this then give the scoop, otherwise you are just seeking attention, IMO

i believe they did RTO as the pandemic is over and now its time to tighten ship. Back to BAU and get us collaborating as one team again!! I do not see it as a way to make us quit

I suspect they’re going to wait for the RTO attrition before they do a big layoff. See what happens next month.

No way. They forced RTO is to save on severance if people want to quit so at least they gonna wait until after that so they I doubt they will do anything before RTO
