We were told there will be more layoffs through this week and next week and first week of January. Also heard they started with Sr dir and work their way to lower levels and finally ETWs. We were also told company has opened positions for hiring and investing in new directions but to my surprise the positions that are posted today and tomorrow are exactly those that were let go!!!

make decks and facilitate ideation sessions and have employees to that full time for us instead? Seriously the amount we are paying for that could’ve saved 5-10 people.
I just learnt who was let go from our team from someone outside of Nike!!!! Isn't it funny your managers cannot be transparent enough and you should find info about your work from people outside or from boards like this?
@vle+1pWFZXlh About half of NXT is E band anyway including many ICs. Why not offer people a demotion from inflated job titles or shrink ETWs count which is over the roof if you want to cut costs in a thoughtful way rather than butchering whoever didn't fit
@gsb+1pWFZXlh I am just curious, do we have any actual info on that consulting firm that presumably does the calculations and prepares the cut lists? I remember similar conversations from 2020 but don't remember any confirmations
I see no open roles yet for NXT. Also know of multiple E bands let go as well.
