Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel should follow Starbucks Leadership Signal

Starbucks just removed its CEO and replaced it with Chipotle’s. The stock is up 20% on the announcement. Intel BoD should follow suit: get rid of Pat Gelsinger and replace it effective immediately with Jim Keller.

Gaudi is a dud.
Jim Keller is not the messiah and is somewhat overrated.
Intel is heavily in debt and has spent a lot of money on non-competitive fabs.

Draw your own conclusions.
Stick a fork in it - Intel is done.

JK is the right choice but I think he's had enough of Intel.

Jim can smell a BSer from 10 blocks away. That is exactly what we need to focus on technology and products again.

Sorry but you need a 50% bump to get to July levels.
You need more than 100% to get to levels earlier in the year.

No CEO can recover from this type of value destruction. Right now you have literally 10s of billions of capex with nothing to show for it. How long until you can recover that cost of capital? Doesn’’t matter who the CEO is - you’re not likely to recover that as it is taking Intel too long to ramp while TSMC and Samsung aren’t waiting around twiddling their thumbs.

Agree replacing our cringe-freak, CEO will bump the stock, but not sure JK is the right choice.
Probably need a white knight from NVDA or some other front running company..
