More groups were effected than listed here. Most people are on through the rest of the year which is probably why they're staying quiet.
I was part of mid June RIF. All my years at Sunesys were factored into severance. 62.5 years old and glad to be out of the po-p show.

Firstlight does have a lot of ex-Crown employees. Firstlight’s existing assets are only in New England, New York State, and Pennsylvania. CC has assets across the US so it would make sense for them to buy CCs fiber assets to expand their network to a national scale.

I am curious about severance for fiber employees from legacy companies like Fibernet, Sunesys, Lightower, Wilcon, etc. Do they get severance for years before being acquired by CC, or is severance only for the years after CC acquired them?
I was laid off in the first round for end of year. What does severance look like for this round?
FYI - Constantino, former CCF VP, is now at Firstlight.

Apparently FirstLight is acquiring Crown Castle Fiber, and they will not be taking existing CC staff only assets. If CC just laid off Network CMs today that means they are about to do the same to Permitting, Engineering and Design, and more CM groups in other regions. So this is just June layoff continued…

Looks like they are evaluating more groups as we speak and the fiber asset sale is going to happen very soon. There will be more cuts with no warning between now and Jan2025
