From my experience, 9 out of 10 of the remote workers weren't responsive or productive. RTO was a good decision. Time to get back to work and spend less time at home binge watching Netflix and refreshing the X feed at home when you should be working.

Dude is so insufferable and annoying that he has no friends or loved ones, no kids, no wife, nobody, so he can’t wait to go back to the office to force everyone to be around him. We all have private teams chats but he isn’t invited to them. Going to the Dell office is his ONLY form of social interaction.
Guess what? We all still hate you, and you have a hygiene problem (stank)
@mfn+1rjlU23j - why did you need an RTO mandate to be happy to be returning back to office? you could have just gone in and be happy!
if you needed mandate to be going back into the office, you dont have intrinsic motivation to be in the office.
@tqw+1rjlU23j I'm certain some abuse the WFH policy but others like myself who only work remote 2 days a week can be more productive as I am willing to stay online longer hours because hey I'm already at home so its easy to do... To be honest I can goof off at work just as well as I can at home.
The only ones that are more productive working from home are the ones being "productive" watching there kids, doing laundry, cooking meals, going for a swim with laptop by the pool.... etc... but that isn't "Work Productive".....
Don't you have a bridge to be guarding? Go on, git!
Face it ,the bottom line is they no longer need to employ part timers
if you need to be around others to feel good about your self you are a failure. what a load of cr-p. RTO is all about control nothing less..

Dell has plenty of boomers with this mindset. Filled with cringe induced can-do'isms and totally unaware of their irrelevancy.

Why are the RTO folks so bitter?
I am happy you will be more productive sitting in a shared office environment and added commute.
pro tip:
Maybe you can leave the laptop running and have it compile code during your commute? Answer some emails during stoplights?
I bet a boomer posted this
soon most of thr remotees will be history.so things will work out
You could have RTO about a year or two now. Dell had offices opened and cubes awaiting. They even encouraged everyone for the last year or so. What stopped you?
Let me guess: You can't RTO unless everyone else RTOs?
But good for you. Enjoy the commute and your 3% yearly.
I agree. Happy for RTO and looking forward to spending time in the office with my team.
Haha, anyone who actually does their work knows WFH is more productive. Unfortunately folks like you are dead weight on the other end and need to be removed from Dell altogether.
Wow - perhaps you can't keep yourself from Netflix and have a lazy work ethic but teams like mine are busy af - we all respond, we are all on calls, escalations etc.. I don't have time to socialize at the office - we are in war rooms and engaged so no time for whatever you did at home.
Whoever you are you’re an a**hole. It may be reflective of YOUR work ethic, but don’t you dare speak to anybody else’s. I have a team who work min 10 hrs a day, calls at 6am calls at 8pm depending on geography.
Culture comes from leadership, you’re either not getting any leadership or showing any.
Damn troll…
I can’t get a response from overlays, coaches, managers etc. that are “productive” in office. Coming in 30 minutes late, taking 75 minute lunches and leaving over an hour early to “beat traffic” seems like a real win for revenue, activity and team spirit.
Ok HR
Instead you spend 99 percent of your time posting on this site. No wonder dell is failing with this much dead weight
Your full of Sh-t. I am more productive working from home.
